High Art: Dear, Photograph
Dear Photograph,My Dad made sure that our yearly Christmas tradition of topping the tree was such an honor between my brothers and I. Dear, Photograph is a website that has a picture with someone holding a different picture in the shot, with the same scence, but at a different point in time. I think this is high art because of the way the photograph is taken. It shows the passing of time and how something or someone can change so much while a place in their life has only had minimal changes. At the bottom of every photo there is a small desciption from the person who took the picture. It usually explains how their life has changed from the original picture to the new picture. This particular picture is high art to me because it shows the change of time of a whole family. The picture shows a young boy excited to top the tree, while the desciprtion tells about a story where this boy has grown up and still holds this memory close to him.
